Before your child can swim or dive, you must attend one mandatory parent meeting in order to review team rules, procedures, and volunteer opportunities. Meeting dates: Saturday, May 20 @9am, Thursday, May 25 @7pm, and Wednesday, May 31 @7pm.
Afterschool practices for both swim and dive teams will begin on Tuesday, May 30th, 2023. Morning practices begin Thursday, June 22nd. This does not include pre-team.

SWIM TEAM PRACTICE SCHEDULE
Afterschool Practices - Tuesday, May 30 thru Wednesday, June 21:
13-18 year olds, 3:45-5:00pm
9-10 year olds, 5:00-5:45pm
11-12 year olds, 5:45-6:30
8 and Unders, 6:30-7:00pm
Morning Practices - Starting Thursday, June 22:
9-12 year olds, 8:00-9:30am
13-18 year olds, 9:30-11:00am
8 and Unders, 11:00-12:00pm
All swimmers should arrive 10 minutes BEFORE their scheduled practice time in order to be prepared to be in the water at their designated time.

PRE-TEAM

If your child is not yet able to swim a lap of the pool unassisted, but they are at least 4 years old and interested in being part of the swim team, you may want to consider registering them for our pre-team program. Pre-team small groups are held in our 3-foot section in the mornings between 8:00-11:00am. All pre-team swimmers will receive a designated time slot. Pre-team swimmers are able to transition to the regular 8 & under practice when the coaches determine they are ready.
Pre-team swimmers are considered part of the CBSC swim and dive team, get a team shirt, and are included in all team social activities, pep rallies, etc. but are taught in small groups with hands-on instruction similar to swim lessons. |

Pre-team will run Monday through Fridays starting Monday, June 26th. All pre-team swimmers will receive a designated time slot between 8:00-11:00am.

We are excited about our 2023 dive season as well. Sadly, we have to say farewell to Coach Lexie and Coach Alex, as they have some other opportunities they will be pursuing this summer. This means that we are currently seeking a new head dive coach! If you know of anyone who may be interested in this position, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Again this year, if your child is on the swim team and would like to dive, we are offering half off the dive fee! Our dive team has grown tremendously in recent years, and we encourage everyone to check it out! |

Swim and Dive Team is an experience unlike any other sport. It is a chance for children of all ages to come together to support one another, build friendships, and work together as a team. We look forward to welcoming back all of our Croc swimmers and divers, and we hope to see many new faces this year as well!
